Yellow Cards – Implement Traffic Control Plans

This course provides participants with the required knowledge & skills to Implement Traffic Control Plans. Implement Traffic Control Plans (previously known as Yellow Card) is required to setup Traffic Control Guidance Schemes (TCGS) in accordance with approved Traffic Management Plans.

You will undertake 3 units of competency in total and the onsite practical session to complete the Traffic Controller course. Upon successful completion, you will be awarded a Certificate allowing you to commence work in the industry. You will be given a “Third Party Assessment Form” for your Employer (or appropriate person) to complete after your course. This will include detailed instructions on the collection of evidence and the “signing off” on your Third Party Report. (More detailed information will be provided on the Training Day). This will need to be completed and returned to Intercept to finalise the issue of your RMS Implement Traffic Control Plan Card.

Implement Traffic Control Plans Course Requirements

WHS Construction Induction Certificate (White Card or equivalent from other states)
Driver’s license (minimum Green P or equivalent) Preferred
Closed shoes are also required for this practical class day.

From 1 January 2015 all students studying qualifications are required to register for a Unique Student Identifier.
